1. How long do classes run for and what happens during class?
  • Mini sessions: In these classes we begin to introduce different dance styles. They also explore techniques for learning to use emotion in their dancing.
  • Junior sessions: In these classes we begin to introduce different dance styles. They also explore techniques for learning to use emotion in their dancing.
  • Teen and Senior dance sessions: Depending on interest and bookings, the classes are focused on particular dance styles.

2. What is the cost of classes and how do I join?

45-minute sessions are $18 a class, 1-hour sessions cost $22 a class, and an administration fee of $22. The cost for classes is on a pro-rata basis if you begin after the start of the Term.

Sessions are held after school during the week and on Saturday mornings Classes are open for booking, we look forward to welcoming you to Ivanhoe Dance.

3. Who are the teachers?

Our teachers at Ivanhoe Dance love to dance, and love to bring the joy of dancing to children. They are experienced dancers and teachers, with the relevant qualifications. Find out more about our teachers.

4. Is there a holiday program?

We run fun holiday programs during school holidays. Find out more about our Holiday Program.

5. Is there an end-of-year concert?

At the end of the year, we will hold a spectacular performance showcasing and celebrating what your child has learned throughout the year. The performance is lots of fun and is held at the Ivanhoe Grammar School’s Performing Arts Centre, Buckley Hall.
